Overview:

This wiki was created as part of a 4-hour training workshop at the 2009 SLA conference. The class, taught by info pros who are “in the trenches” as trainers, offers a toolkit of resources to help make training more effective, innovative, and fun. Concepts covered include understanding the audience, using various types of instruction (in-person, online, self-paced and more), marketing services, and evaluating the impact of programs. In this interactive session attendees can share experiences, learn from colleagues, and start building a network of other trainers for future collaboration and inspiration.
